Serious Injuries

Litigation can be an expensive and time consuming effort. The law does not provide compensation for every death or injury. Each state has different laws to address the issue of who should receive compensation and under what circumstances.

The business community and insurance companies have made tremendous efforts to convince citizens that much litigation is frivolous and should be prevented. As a result, juries are much less likely to award fair compensation based upon these efforts.

Misguided politicians have passed legislation which limits the access to the courts and the legal rights of victims and injured parties. These efforts are continuing on the federal and state level

The result is that in my practice only those cases which involve death or serious permanent injury are economically viable for the client. Litigation costs in a single malpractice case can easily run $100,000.00. If the
anticipated recovery is less than that, the client goes through tremendous stress with little chance to be adequately compensated.

For that reason, many cases involving victims of negligence never have the opportunity to reach the courthouse door. Please visit our link page for more information.
